			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We recently went through a complete makeover of the Focus Insights website and as part of that we had professional pictures taken of the staff.  The professional photographer Henk, with years of experience photographing models and celebrities among others along with his wife Yanka, a beauty and image expert and a former top international model, provided thoughtful image training prior to each one of us having our photos taken.  Yanka has used her 20 years experience in the modeling business to help people really bring out their own unique beauty so it can be captured in a photograph.  As she was applying our makeup talking about the power of self image she shared something quite profound:</p>
<ul>
<li> <strong>Recognize </strong>who you are</li>
<li> <strong>Appreciate</strong> who you are</li>
<li> <strong>Value</strong> yourself for who you are</li>
<li> <strong>Be passionate</strong> about who you are</li>
</ul>
<p>Recognize, appreciate, value and be passionate about who <strong>YOU</strong> are!</p>
<p>How many people get past even recognizing who they are? How many people appreciate or even know what values they bring to any situation including the workplace?</p>
<p>Like Yanka, I&#8217;ve had 20 years experience albeit in a different field of assessments, there are things in what she shared that are quite synergistic to what we do at Focus Insights.  We may not deal in capturing on film the unique inner beauty as Henk and Yanka do, but we do capture in our comprehensive assessment reports insight into who you really are and what values you bring to an organization.  In our debrief process of the assessment results we go beyond just the report and data to help the individual know more about themselves, so they can appreciate and value themselves for who they really are.<br />
